MEET THE COACHES...
Jessica Kammann - Head Coach
Coach Kammann grew up in Elk River and played for the Elks where she was part of multiple section winning teams & state participation teams. She then moved on to play college golf for the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Coach Kammann has been apart of the Elk River Golf Course since 1993. She has enjoyed the sport of golf for the majority of her life, it’s a sport her entire family plays, in fact you will likely find her out there with her family multiple times a week. She is passionate about growing the girls golf team, ensuring the girls love the sport they could play for life. She is looking forward to sharing her experiences, coaching the girls around the course!

Melissa Brockman - Assistant Coach
Coach Brockman is currently a Spanish teacher at Elk River High School and has been enjoying classroom teaching for the past 24 years. She has carried the joy of teaching in the classroom onto the golf course. She has raised three young men that were active in football, baseball and hockey. As a family, they have grown to love the game of golf and enjoy playing in the summer months together. Coach Brockman is honored to continue working with the coaching staff for ER Girls Golf along with the players again this year. It's good to be an Elk!

McKaila Poppen - Assitant Coach
Coach Poppen graduated from Elk River High School and played 5 years of varsity golf for Coach Bleyhl! She has been a member of Elk River Golf Club for most of her life and is looking forward to working with the golf team this year. She and her husband just moved back to the Elk River area with their dog, Chooch, and their newborn daughter, Claire. Coach Poppen is looking forward to the opportunity of working with Coach Kammann and Coach Brockman, along with being a small part of the legacy that is Elk River Girls Golf!
